We would like to inform all system owners and aggregators of an issue associated with the automatic transfer of eligible certificates from Irrevocable Standing Orders in the PJM-EIS GATS marketplace.

While all certificates generated after your standing order was approved will automatically be transferred over to the program’s GATS account, certificates generated prior to that month may not. The BPU through a Board Order has approved the manual transfer of these certificates. Please note that the Board Order only covers certificates generated prior to the establishment of the required Irrevocable Standing Order in PJM GATS. It does NOT allow for any other manual transfer of certificates, all subsequent certificates must come through the required Irrevocable Standing Order.

If you believe your system has been impacted by this, please do the following:

  • Log-in to your PJM GATS Account
  • Navigate to Certificates > View > Certificates (CEPS)
    • If you do not have any certificates listed here, you do NOT need to do anything further.
    • If you do have certificates listed here with a TREC certificate number, you may transfer the REC(s) to the program with the below steps:
      1. Click the blue Transfer link under Action (first column on the left)
      2. Select Another Account Holder and choose Solar Incentives NJ Program
      3. At the top, enter the Price per Certificate you are eligible for in the TREC program. For example, participants with a rooftop residential solar facility will enter $91.20 for a TREC and $90 for an SREC-II. You can determine your certificate price here: TREC Pricing Structure or SREC-II Pricing Structure
      4. Transfer Type: Spot Market
      5. Click Submit at the bottom
